Tech: Elixir, Phoenix (LiveView & Channels), Oban, Postgres, FusionAuth, Rust, Python
We’re working with an early-stage startup that is building a global, AI messaging platform. They’re looking for a Senior Elixir Engineer to help design and scale core systems across multi-tenancy, real-time messaging, and authentication.
Responsibilities:
• Build and scale an Elixir-powered Ai platform
• Work on real-time messaging (Phoenix Channels, WebSockets)
• Integrate with external IDPs (e.g. FusionAuth)
• Contribute to UI features with Phoenix LiveView
• Manage background jobs with Oban
• Integrate Elixir services with Rust and Python modules
Requirements:
• Strong Elixir/Phoenix experience in production
• Deep knowledge of multi-tenancy and distributed systems
• Experience with IDP integrations & real-time messaging
• Comfortable working with Postgres at scale
Experienced remote workerStrong English communication verbal/written
Bonus: exposure to Rust or Python
